Tuhin and Hope for Children
Schools in Bangladesh, whether set up by the government or local communities, have almost no facilities. Many even lack a properly constructed toilet for hundreds of boys and girls. Blackboard and chalk are the only teaching aids. The Hope for Children project, led by Tuhin, is gradually covering the poorest schools in one of the riverine districts of Bangladesh.

When possible, spoken English and teacher refresher courses are provided. It's a costly programme but each year about 40 schools receive help.
